All rates are for private, one-way transfers based on a minimum fare for up to 4 adults traveling together between St Arnaud, Nelson Lakes, and listed destinations. Additional passengers incur a supplement. **Note re current ( 2026) fuel crisis. Our published rates are our standard rates based on 2025/26 season.
For 2026/27 a fuel supplement may or may not apply at the time of your departure. You will be notified of the supplement closer to the time**

Booking more than 4 persons? As a rule the fare is 1/4 th of the flat rate fare for transfers around the Nelson Lakes and to/from airports. Longer journeys are discounted as are group bookings from 6 persons. Feel free to ask for a quote.
Bikes. We take a maximum of 4 mountain bikes or 2 Ebikes. The cost will vary from $20.00 to $50.00 depending on the destination and nr of bikes. Please enquire.
Waiting time: We understand that you may be later than your booked time. However as our drivers are paid on an hourly rate, if you are delayed longer than 15 minutes and have not given us more than 2 hours notice we reserve the right to charge a fee in respect of the waiting time. Payment on the spot.
Our Hospitality is free. Our reviews rave about us for our local knowledge and our picnic basket with a drink and homemade cookie when picking guests up from tramping or being offered during longer journeys.
Storage of luggage is free when booking a return transfer. Alternatively the Nelson Lakes Visitors centre accepts bags for a small fee or try your accommodation provider.
Storage of Vehicle is free when you book with us. Please note that we are located between Lakes Rotoiti and Rotoroa so you will need to book a return transfer. St Arnaud has a number of reasonably safe parking spots.
Free also is our kiwi style sense of humour and friendly professional service.
St Arnaud is 1.5 hours drive from Nelson, Blenheim and 1hr.45mins from Picton, Motueka and 2hrs from Kaiteriteri and Westport.
